About & Quality Care:
I am a home made-to-order studio located in Texas, USA. Everything is made from scratch by me. I do everything I can to source quality, sustainable, ethical materials, and craft each piece with love and care. I do use non-natural fibers occasionally, but only quality ones. Everything else will be predominantly natural fiber.
I do offer made-to-measure. See below.

Shipping:
Please enjoy complimentary shipping across the continental US.
If you are located internationally, shipping pricing are generated at checkout depending on the customer’s address. I understand shipping can be quite expensive. I am looking forward to growing as a brand and being able to in the future provide more opportunity for free shipping. For now I appreciate your support in helping me get there. The customer is responsible for duties and fees and any extra incurring costs.
Sizing:
We use standard American sizing. Please be sure to consult the sizing chart, and any notations of fit on each individual product page before purchasing.
How are items priced?
At We the Lowborn, I do my best to put forward only quality garments made to last. Each fabric is meticulously sought out for its hand, quality, and look. I do not cheap out on materials to gain a few bucks, so you can expect to receive high quality items. The price reflects the materials and labour needed for the garment. Each garment price is carefully calculated down to the cent. This is because I value each customer and understand higher costs are not easy for everyone so I price with respect and responsibility. I always strive to be ethical in all my ways as We the Lowborn.
Do you offer made-to-measure?
It is possible to email me an inquiry on a listed garment to be made-to-measure. Whether I am able to is based solely on my discretion. Any made-to-measure garment pattern will be based off of an existing garment pattern and altered from there. Made-to-measure garments may be subject to an extra fee depending on complexity. Made-to-measure garments will not be eligible for a refund. If you are local, they can be altered again to ensure satisfaction.
Can you edit your order once placed?
Generally the answer is no. But because this is a small home-based boutique, there is a possibility to change your order if you contact me at [email protected] fast enough, otherwise it cannot be changed. Whether or not I can change your order depends on a case-to-case basis, and is 100% up to my discretion. This is why it is extremely important to double check your purchase prior to checkout.
What is your return policy?
I hope you love your items, but I understand that mistakes happen. If you are not happy with your purchase, I accept returns for store credit only. Returns will be approved on a case-to-case basis due to the nature of my shop being made-to-order. I value clothing that is made with the environment, artistic expression, and wastage impact in mind. Every garment I produce is made with the utmost respect, quality, and attention to detail as I value every garment and customer.
I do not accept exchanges. If you would like to order a different size, return your merchandise as soon as possible and I will issue you store credit if the items are deemed eligible according to the return requirements laid out below. Store credit can be used to order a different size or any of my other products.
ALL accessories, intimates, and hand-beaded items are FINAL SALE. Absolutely no exceptions.
RETURN REQUIREMENTS:
- Merchandise must be returned within 14 days of receiving the order.
- Merchandise must be unworn, unwashed, unstained and un-perfumed.
- Merchandise must have all tags.
- Due to hygiene concerns the following cannot be returned or exchanged: swimwear, intimates, accessories, hats, earrings.
- Hand-beaded items cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Please note if you paid for shipping at the time of your original order, you will not be credited the cost of shipping when I receive your return.
How do I track my order?
Please upgrade your shipping to include tracking if you wish to do so. You will receive a tracking number via email.
How long will it take until I receive my order?
This boutique functions as a made-to-order brand. It is run by a mom of two babies, who does everything by hand, from pattern drafting to running the website. Please understand that because I am not a huge brand and prefer to put quality and long lasting garments out there, your order may take time. Expect simple garments like tops to ship within a week, and complex garments like tailored jackets to take 2-3 weeks. I will do my best to improve my timing as I understand it is exciting to receive your purchase right away.
I am not liable for missing parcels due to errors on the customer or carrier’s part.
